Editorial Policy

Human approval, no auto-publish

Stories publish only after a named human editor approves them. Drafts are prepared with Muse assistance; Mr.Breach is the named editor, and no draft becomes a story without his explicit approval. There is no auto-publish path in the codebase: no cron job, feed job or webhook publishes a draft. Publishing happens only through the admin Approve & Publish button, after the verification box and, for Yellow and Red drafts, the explicit-approval box have both been ticked.

The publish gate

Every trend is checked against one of three tiers before it can become a story:

Originality and sourcing

At least 60% of each story is material produced by this site: its timeline, its comparison, its archive data and its analysis. Quoted material is headlines and short facts only. Article text is never reproduced, article images are never copied or hotlinked, and every comparison entry ends in an outbound link to the original source. A rewrite that tracks one source article sentence by sentence is treated here as scraped content, even if the words have been changed, and is not accepted.

Every story names 3–5 sources, states what those sources agree on, states where they differ, and labels what is not yet confirmed as unconfirmed — never as fact. Headlines state the story; they do not use curiosity gaps or question headlines.

Volume and updates

The site publishes 2–5 editorial stories per day, chosen by the gate above — not one page per trend, and not one page per hour. A developing story is updated in place on its permanent URL. A correction is made on the same URL and noted at the top of the story, as described in the Corrections Policy. Archive snapshots themselves are never edited: a correction to data is a new record, not an overwrite.

Advertising boundary

No advertising runs on the live feeder page or on auto-generated listings. Ad placeholders on editorial and archive pages are placeholders only until the subdomain's advertising status has been checked and the site has built a base of substantial original pages.
